Beppo

MY BEPPO!

His full name is Giuseppe Giovanni Domenico Hickman! But he is officially known as Beppo or Bepposhai!

Beppo is my unique chicken. He is the "king' of the chickens. He even has a war cry and natural war paint! Whenever you cannot find Beppo, if you see a large group of chickens, he is usually right in the middle. And sometimes you can see him running across the yard with his tribe! He is extremely hard to catch and when you do catch him he tolerates it for a little while and eventually he will bite you and that is the sign to let him go. I always want to hold Beppo and all I have to do is say " Josh, I want Beppo" And Josh will yell " Bepposhai!" and run and keep up the race until he wins!! He usually gets Beppo and comes back in " shreds and patches", in other words, all scratched up!
I really like Beppo and the uglier he gets the more I will like him!

Upcoming Feast of Saint Dominic

Saint Dominic O.P. is coming SOON!

Next Sunday, August 4th is the feast of Saint Dominic. We are all anxious to figure out what Mom is going to make for dinner, because Dad insists that it be Spanish. I said, cocol and Mexican Hot Chocolate, but I immediately got " That is NOT Spanish, that is Mexican." We will be going to Holy Name for Mass that Sunday. It is a big feast for Dad, so remember him in your prayers! I will post more after the feast!
